Over the last year (and especially these past few months), I've heard many people voicing their concern about allowing Russia to host the Winter Games. Not only because of the controversial stance on homosexuality, but also just about Russia's ability to get properly prepared to host such an event.
It seems we now have the evidence to conclude that their concerns were well-founded. The hotel situation for journalists arriving this week appears to be ground zero for this particular disaster in the making.
Is it too late to move the event over to a First World location? ◉
